The Singapore Youth Olympic Festival Taekwondo Kyorugi Championships 2011 |

Singapore Youth Olympic Festival was held on the 13 and 14 of August 2011 at the Singapore Expo. Henderson TKD had achieved a total of 8 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze medals and won the 2nd runner up overall champion trophy. |

37th National Taekwondo Championship 2010
National Kyorugi Championship 2010 was held at Yishun Sports Complex on the 4, 5, 11 and 12 of September 2010. Henderson TKD had achieved a total of 8 Gold, 6 Silver, 7 Bronze medals and the Best Coach Award. |
Lim Wei Meng Adrian, the head coach for Henderson Taekwondo was awarded the Best Coach in this event.

14th Asian Cities Gold Cup Taekwondo Championship 2010

3 players from Henderson TKD, participated in the 14th Asian Cities Gold Cup Taekwondo Championship held from 19 to 21 February in Hong Kong. They brought us proud for winning 1 Gold, and 2 Silver medals. A gold medal won by Keith Ong (Center) and 2 silver medals won by Jordan Tay (right) and Chua Juan Juan (left)

36th Pesta Sukan National Taekwondo Championship was
held at Yishun Sports Complex on the 29, 30 August and 5, 6 Sept
2009. We had achieved a total of 6 Golds, 1 Silvers and 2 Bronze medals. And 2 other awards:

A Gold from Jordan
Jordan Tay Jun Jie had won a Gold from the 13th Asian Cities Gold Cup Taekwondo Championships held from 6 to 8 February 2009 in Hong Kong, China. Well done Jordan, we are proud of you!
Henderson TKD would like to congratulate the Singapore Team for winning 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze Medal and two overall 3rd runners-up trophies for Senior Male and Junior Male Divisions.

Full Day Training Session
A full day training was held on 17 Dec 2008, 10 am till 9 pm. This training program included both sparring and demonstation fundemental. Students from Henderson TKD not only having fun during this training session but they also found this training program very beneficial and they are looking forward for another full day training on the next school holidays. |
Chanbara Workshop
16 Nov 2008, 12 members from Henderson Taekwondo participated Padded Weapon workshop known as Sports Chanbara, organized by Stiletto TKD at Tahman Jurong CC conducted by the Samurai Sports Singapore Practiced with padded focus stick designed to allow users to spar easily and train at 100 percent of their strength and speed, without fear of pain or injury, while capturing all rigors of the full-contact experience.
